One of the weapons that may have caught your eye as you started in the Phantom Liberty DLC of Cyberpunk 2077 may have been the Hawk.
The Hawk is an Iconic Assault Rifle that is seen being held by the president (Rosalind Myers) when you first meet her until the time the two of you fight your way to a safe house.
This weapon can be obtained later after you have progressed in the game, but some players may miss it as they continue playing the game.
How To Get Hawk?
The Hawk can later be obtained once you have returned to the apartment on Kress Street, which is during the Lucretia My Reflection quest.
After fighting your way through several enemies and escaping with the president, the two of you make it to a safe house where you hold out.
Later on, you are sent to meet with Reed, who later brings the president to safety and upon returning to the apartment, you will find that she has left you her rifle, Hawk.
Where To Get Hawk?
You can find Hawk back at the apartment on Kress Street, which is the first safe house you find during the Phantom Liberty DLC.
If you forgot the way back, all you need to do is head to the Kress Street apartment by marking it on your map in the northwest part of Dogtown.
Once you reach the apartment, head up to the 8th floor, and go into the safehouse and you will find it to your right past the door.
Hawk Stats
The Hawk that we obtained at Level 20 during the Lucretia My Reflection was a Tier 3 Iconic Power Assault Rifle that has a semi-automatic trigger.
Headshots from the Hawk will temporarily weaken and mark enemies, which slows them, prevents ability usage, reduces damage, and makes them prone to losing their balance.
Additionally, the Hawk has the following perks:
- 175% Headshot Damage Multiplier
- 25% Armor Penetration

Verdict
The Hawk is a decent weapon that can later be used to take out enemies quickly thanks to its moderate damage high Headshot Damage Multiplier and Armor Penetration
With the addition of how it cripples enemies you deal headshots to make it easier to take out single targets and even groups by putting them at a disadvantage.
Equipping this weapon with a suppressor and scope can make it a good weapon for taking out enemies without alerting their allies.
