Futabasha has launched the fifth mini-anime series of the popular manga, Fudanshi Shōkan: Isekai de Shinjū ni Hameraremashita (Fudanshi Summoning: I Got Laid by a Divine Beast in an Alternate World), on YouTube. The new anime series will comprise three episodes per week on Wednesdays, with the last episode scheduled to debut on May 24. The release is to mark the release of the seventh volume of the manga, which came out on May 11, accompanied by a drama CD.
Fudanshi Shokan Boys-Love Manga’s Latest Mini-Anime Series: A Hilarious Adventure in an Alternate World
The manga centers around Kotone Aizuhara, a fudanshi, who is a male fan of boys-love manga, similar to female fujoshi fans. The story begins with Kotone dying after getting run over by a truck while buying BL manga. In a turn of events, he is transported into an alternate world where he encounters Nagi, a divine serpent in the form of a man. Nagi tells Kotone that they need to have sex so that Nagi can assume his higher dragon form.
The returning cast members include Haruki Ishiya as Kotone Aizuhara and Takuya Satō as Nagi. The new cast members include Kazuya Ichijō as Jiru and Haruna Mikawa as Yua.
The first mini-anime net series of the manga was launched in September 2019. It comprised four episodes that marked the release of the manga’s second volume. The second series, which aired for three episodes, marked the release of the fourth volume in November 2021. The third series, also comprising three episodes, was released in July 2022 to celebrate the release of the fifth volume. The fourth series, comprising three episodes, marked the release of the sixth volume in December 2022.
Moe Fujisaki, the creator of the manga, launched it on Futabasha’s Comic Marginal website in 2019.
