A Ghanaian man in Canada, Ian Mensah, has caused a stir in the North American country with a Ghana Jollof restaurant.
Ian opened the restaurant in the town of Charlottetown, situated in the province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) of Canada.
It was a business he started with his partner, Amanda, in January 2021.

The restaurant serves authentic Ghana Jollof Rice, elder brother of Nigerian Jollof.
According to the website CBC.Ca, ‘The Jollof House’, as the restaurant is called, is one of only a few restaurants on the Island of PEI which serves African food.
Mensah serves Jollof with chicken and salad at the restaurant.
According to him, their foreign customers are loving it so far.
“They are really coming for it, I can tell the people are loving it now,” he told CBC.Ca.

Aside Jollof, Ian serves kelewele and peanut butter soup (Groundnut soup) at the Jollof House.
