Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors is selling his home in Malibu, reports the Los Angeles Times. After buying the house a little over a year ago for $12.05 million, he's now seeking a roughly $1.5 million profit in selling the house now, with an asking price of $13.495 million.
With four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and plenty of sliding glass walls and terraces for maximum enjoyment of the surrounding Pacific coast, the multi-level home also sports and elevator, home theater room, and special glass-enclosed wine rack. As an old lease listing for the house proclaims:
"The amazing private guest suite with a spa inspired bathroom elevates your emotions as the wall of glass opens, leading to the beach. The exceptional master suite showcases the majestic cove with a master bath that is a world of its own. Add a massage and exercise loft, fireplaces, surround sound, mood lighting and romance begins."
Another factor in elevating your emotions may be two of the house's previous reported owners. Since originally being constructed in 1976 (it was recently remodeled to bring it to its present state) and before it was Durant's short-lived digs, it belonged to a couple of famous names in their own right: Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill actor Michael Madsen and late Who drummer Keith Moon!
Even if you're not in the mood for romance (or to elevate your emotions), you can still take a look on your own at Kevin Durant's for-sale Malibu pad in the video below from realtor Susan Monus. Enjoy:
Durant is currently in the middle of a two-year contract extension with the Warriors (reported to be worth some $61.5 million) with an option to to get out at the end of this year, but the prevailing rumor as of this writing seems to be that he's planning on staying with the Warriors.
