Morris says she is addicted to group class aerial workouts. "Some individuals are self-starters," says Northwestern Medicine. "They're able to go for a run, lift weights or practice yoga without any prompting. However, for many people, working out with a partner, group or personal trainer can provide the encouragement and motivation to commit to regular exercise."
Morris uses the Stair Climber machine at the gym. Whether it's via a machine or actual stairs, this activity is a great exercise, experts say. "Active stair climbers are more fit and have a higher aerobic capacity," say the experts at Duke. "Even two flights of stairs climbed per day can lead to 6 lbs of weight loss over one year."
Morris does Pilates workouts on the Reformer machine. "Pilates is a type of strength training exercise that encourages you to identify and work within the limits of your body," says Leanne Wonesh, an athletic trainer at Houston Methodist. "There's also an inherent mindfulness to it and a lot of breath work, which can help relieve tension and stress."
Morris battled an eating disorder in the past, and says she has turned her health around. Morris gained weight while filming The Bachelor, but refused to let negative thoughts affect her self-image. "I turned it into a positive energy and it fuelled me to get into shape, be healthier and start eating properly," she said.
Morris says she got Botox in her jawline to help prevent migraines. "So it's no secret I use muscle relaxants in my jaw for medical reasons – grinding teeth in my sleep!!" she says. "I'm a notorious jaw clencher in my sleep so much so I wake up with migraines and from that it's contributed to my strong jawline."
