    Starting Map: Fort Joy

    To start this quest you should try to talk to Slane the Winter Dragon.

    We met Slane the Winter Dragon, who was bound by chains to two pillars.

    Quest stages of The Purged Dragon

    1. Slane Invulnerable

    Check one of the Bone Totems.

    The Winter Dragon is invulnerable, it seems. Whoever captured it must want it alive...

    2. Unchained Dragon

    Destroy both Bone Totems.

    Slane is now free, though seems rather unwell.

    3. Dragon Info

    Talk to the dragon after you destroy both Bone Totems. If you want to help him then you should choose:

    *Assure Slane you will seek to retrieve the Purging Wand from Radeka.*

    The result should be ...

    The dragon has been purged by a witch named Radeka. If we can bring her Purging Wand to Slane, he may be able to free himself from her domination.

    4. Dragon Dead

    If during the converation with the dragon you select ...

    *Smirk and tell him you can free him from this mortal plane right now.*

    ... then the fight will start and you will have to kill the dragon. In his corpse you will find Fang of the Winter Dragon (One-Handed Sword).

    Slane the Winter Dragon is dead, so he has his freedom. Of sorts.

    6. Unpurged Dragon

    Go back to the dragon and give him Radeka's Purging Wand.

    We gave Radeka's Purging Wand to Slane, and he transformed into a lizard.

    In gratitude, Slane has promised to help us in my hour of need.

    7. Dragon Help

    If you've helped Slane to get rid of the curse, he can destroy the Shriekers standing on your way to the harbour.

    Slane appeared and destroyed the Shriekers protecting the Magisters at the harbour.

    8. Dragon Help Buff

    If shriekers are already dead then he will come and grant you a buff +1 to Strength, Finesse, Intelligence and Constitution for next 50 turns.

    Slane appeared and granted us a boon.

    9. Met Witch

    We met a strange witch named Radeka, prowling around the stinking corpses in a mass grave, far below an ancient tower.

    10. Truthof Slane

    Radeka told us that Slane was once her lover, but she punished him for lying by purging him, transforming him into a dragon.

    11. Blood Rose Info

    Radeka told us that blood roses are a rare bloom that grow only in soil rich with the blood of the tortured dead.

    12. Rose Recipe

    Radeka gave us a recipe for a powerful potion that requires three blood roses to craft.

    13. Braccus Dungeon

    Radeka told us that this place is a mass grave from the time of Braccus Rex. Her two companions died here thanks to the traps hidden amongst the skeletal remains.

    14. Witch Quest

    We have been tasked with seeking blood roses for Radeka. For each rose we bring to her, she will grant us a spell.

    15. Act End

    We have left Fort Joy behind us, and Slane as well. He'll have to save himself.
